Forgotten City

The robot moved from the podium towards the crowd. It scanned everyone, regardless of their age, race, gender or species. Sitting in a dark corner was the kid. He controlled the robot, telepathically feeding him with task after task. There was a moment when the robot hesitated; it opened its eye wide and there was a dragged sound of the zoom adjusting to the new target. The kid nodded, and the robot erased the old man’s memory entirely. “One memory at a time, and the universe will be mine,” thought the kid. He did not notice that odd looking fellow who had arrived in the afternoon galactic transportation. His mission was to put an end to the lunacy. But before that, he would have to snatch that robot…
